I first met Miss Sally was in 2003 whereby I need to know some simple Bahasa Indonesia to do my job. I was not very keen to attend the class as I need to rush from my office and usually reach home late. However, after the first few lessons, I found that it was really fun to learn from Miss Sally, she was very patient and helpful to all of us, made comparison between Malay and Indonesia and created so much fun in learning.I really benefited a lot from Madam Sally’s teaching and now I am able to speak simple Bahasa Indonesia to my Indonesian friends.

A teacher who understood the strengths and weaknesses of her students coupled by unleashing their potential using her unique methodologies for each of her special student through encouragement and love.I wasn’t a “language person”. I foresee a rough road ahead to pick up a new language from scratch. I wasn’t very confident initially.However Sally changed an ordinary student into a winner in his own ways :)All the fun, laughter and moments we had together will be etched in my memory forever 🙂

My learning journey with Ibu Sally was a very fun and stress-less one. She is able to relate learning to many of our basic daily activities and events, which makes the learning process engaging and easy.I attended the class with four other peers for a period of one month. Ibu Sally is very sharp and she is able to quickly know and understand the different learning styles of each student. From there, she then helps each and everyone of us in strengthening the command of the language.Although only a short period of one month, I have built strong fundamentals of Bahasa Indonesia, through her guidance. And with this strong base, I am able to continue learning the language with ease.

I have just recently finished my Bahasa Indonesia course in August 2011 with Ibu Guru Sally. Being an Indonesian myself, I feel that the classes I had were really helpful.I have stayed away from Indonesia for long and, though I still speak the language often, I have forgotten some of the theories and the complicated vocabularies. During lessons, Ibu Guru Sally helped me to understand better some basics that I often doubted.The classes were really fun too!! Sally was really nice, patient and had many interesting teaching methods to make sure the students would benefit. I have attended Ibu Sally’s Bahasa Indonesia class recently as part of my preparation for my work in Indonesia and it was an enriching, interesting and fun 1 month with her. During the course of the language programme, I have mastered the basics of Bahasa Indonesia, understood the culture from the various experiences that she shared with us and now able to hold a simple conversation with others in Bahasa Indonesia!Besides just imparting us knowledge, the lessons were very interesting and not as dry as the usual language lessons.
