Our in-person Indonesian classes are held at convenient central locations in Singapore, depending on the class schedule.

• Weekday daytime classes: 6 Raffles Quay, about a 5-minute walk from Raffles Place MRT (Exit I).
• Weekday evening and weekend classes: International Plaza, about a 1-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT.
• Online classes: Available via Zoom for learners who prefer to study remotely.

When registering, the class location and schedule will be stated clearly so you can choose the option that works best for you.

Yes. We offer both online and in-person classes, making it easy for learners in Singapore and around the world to learn with us.

Each Indotutors course module consists of 18 hours of instruction. Depending on the class format and schedule, learners can choose sessions of 1 hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hours.

This flexible structure allows learners to choose a schedule that fits their availability while progressing through the course step by step.

Our group classes have a minimum of 4 learners and a maximum of 10 learners per class. Keeping classes at a manageable size gives learners more opportunities to participate, practise speaking and interact with the trainer throughout the lessons.

If a class does not reach the minimum number of learners, we will contact registered participants regarding the available options.

We focus on using the language, not just learning it. Every lesson includes practical conversations, everyday situations and cultural insights to help you communicate naturally and confidently in Indonesian.

All lessons are conducted by experienced native Indonesian-speaking instructors who are passionate about helping learners grow in confidence and communicate comfortably.

Yes. Course materials are included in the course fee, so there are no additional charges for the required materials. No GST is charged, so the price you see is the final amount you pay.

Yes. We offer private Indonesian lessons at S$90 per hour, with the same hourly rate applying to all levels, from beginner to advanced. Lessons are tailored to your level, learning goals and pace.

No. Our course fee remains the same across all levels. Whether you are joining a beginner, intermediate or advanced class, the course fee is the same.

If you miss a class, you can enjoy complimentary unlimited make-up lessons upon request, subject to seat availability, in another ongoing group class. We also review key points from the previous lesson at the beginning of the next class, so missing one lesson is usually manageable.

If you prefer a one-to-one make-up lesson instead, private lessons are also available at the prevailing private lesson rate.

Yes. We understand that work and personal commitments can change. We’ll do our best to recommend a class that fits your schedule, and if you need flexibility, feel free to speak with us. We’ll be happy to discuss the available options.

Yes. We provide customised training for companies, government agencies, educational institutions, and other organisations, with programmes tailored to different industries and learning objectives.

Yes. Learners who attend at least 75% of the course will receive an Indotutors Certificate of Completion.

No. SkillsFuture Credit cannot currently be used for our courses. From 1 January 2025, SkillsFuture Singapore ceased funding for non-certifiable courses. This change applies to non-certifiable courses and is not specific to Indotutors.

AI is a useful tool, but it can’t replace real conversations or cultural understanding. Learning Indonesian helps you communicate naturally, build stronger relationships, and speak with confidence in situations where trust and human connection matter most.

When choosing a language centre, look beyond the course fee and location. Consider whether the centre offers a clear learning pathway, experienced teachers, practical lessons and an approach that suits your goals.

It is also worth asking whether the centre can show evidence of students’ progress. For example, can students actually hold a conversation, handle everyday situations or use Indonesian in a professional setting after completing their lessons?
